If the demons of the underground alternative scene have looked upon you favourably, you may be fortune enough to be headed for ATP’s grand finale this coming weekend down in Pontins, Camber Sands. The late Lou Reed, whose All Tomorrow’s Parties Barry Hogan’s bash is of course named after, shan’t be in attendance although the velveteen dreamer will, one hopes, be attentively watching down from above. From whence he may even hear NYC-based miserablists the Tall Firs putting their gloriously mournful spin on said track. A sublime celebration of inescapable passing, it streams in all its sparse, folksy beauty below.
