Less immediate but all the more upbeat than the predecessing, prepossessing Gimme, BANKS’ frank, Francis and the Lights-featuring Look What You’re Doing to Me serves as another number which heightens the already-heady anticipation surrounding next month’s third full-length effort, III. BJ Burton returns on production duties, while Francis Farewell Starlite puts in a pretty convincing Phil Collins impression, but this one’s all about an artist who’s becoming increasingly compelling – and, for that matter, multifaceted – with their every release.

III is available from July 12^th via Harvest Records, while BANKS plays the Roundhouse on November 4^th.
