For instance, it was only a matter of moments ago that we were extolling Iceland’s extremely loveable Vaginaboys, and Ekki Nóg; and it’s now the turn of Copenhagen’s commensurately, and with that immeasurably, impressive CHINAH to occupy an incorporeal column inch or two…

The three-piece compelled in London, at The Lexington, late on last September, and building upon that apparently robust foundation, they now return with what may be their most formidable moment to date, and Minds. Subtle as a smoke ring solemnly ascending into oblivion at times, and explosively bombastic at others, Fine Glindvad’s FKA twiggy vocals combine with lissom guitar lines, brittle, crackling beats and unreservedly histrionic, bitesize synth blurts, to create an absolute beauty that is both intriguing rhythmically, and bluish lyrically…
