Corridor, Domino.

It really wasn’t so long ago that praise was quite rightly lavished upon Montréal lot Corridor – or, more specifically, the properly fussicky Topographe – yet here we go again. For Domino, the latest to fall off their forthcoming Junior full-length, proves another restive masterpiece, as swirling vocals whirr around lustrous guitars reminiscent of fellow Canadians Ought or a rather less, well, preoccupied Preoccupations. Lyrically, it’s all a little bit above and beyond my GCSE-level Français, although that won’t stop us chantant en yaourt when they roll into town in November, such are their anthemic phonetics.

Junior is available from October 18th via Sub Pop, while Corridor play The Waiting Room on November 6th.
