Frida Sundemo’s début album – the altogether stellar Flashbacks & Futures – lands tomorrow, and lifted from it, Circles is perhaps her masterstroke so far. Granted, the pianistic, spectral rendering to have made the proverbial grade may be that bit more impactful than the acoustic, skeletal take which can be found below, but pared down and played demurely, this particular – and particularly impressive – rendition clearly indicates just how accomplished a songwriter the Swede has become.
