Or at least that’s what we’ve here been led to presume… PETER. are a Glasgee three-piece trading in dulcet, lo-fi pop shiners not dissimilar to those almost mechanically chinked out of Fuyija & Miyagi, who most likely comprise a Peter in there somewhere. Somewhat more conclusive, meanwhile, are the lustful to the verge of wistful vocal intonations of Sleep With Me Baby. Far from as sordid as it may first sound though arguably a little more stalker-friendly, they begin: “I wanna live in your home/ I wanna see what you do.” There goes the faux baritone that proves redolent of a certain Horror, gliding almost nonchalantly over motorik drum machine settings, muddied guitars, and glimmering synths. Reflecting a grand success, for sure.
