On the Horizon: Midas Disco, Just a Touch.

With the clouds this morning of an irritatingly opaque quality, we may still be awaiting even (5) days of summer although as we continue to so impatiently await the frivolous sacrificing of “shrimps on the barbie”, beamed up from a land down under is this glistering disco thriller from Melbourne production duo, Just a Touch. Featuring vocal samples from The Hangover of all things – or Alan Garner’s weirdly lionised speech, to be a little more accurate – Wolfpack’s Nile Rodgers-indebted tender underbelly is the real source of ferocious vigour here, mellow keys combining with guitars crisp as any which Heineken subsidiary lager and cowbells to have Vito Roccoforte jiving from incessantly tapping foot to beaming mouth. Follow the herd over to SoundCloud, where Wolfpack has already accrued some 9,654 members and envisage some as yet nonexistent aestival season…
