There’s something residing deep within the brooding, angst-filled chaos of The Chapman Family that has made them mightily exciting over the years and although the Teesside gloom-rockers have consistently conquered in the live department, newly unveiled single This One’s For Love demonstrates a real progression so too in the studio as the forthcoming release (anticipated June 3rd) boasts a well-rounded and polished sound. There’s finely balanced dynamics, a rousing chorus and chanted backing vocals, making This One’s For Love a motive for justification that The Chapman Family are back – and they’ve raised the bar.
