So much has been said – or, rather, written – about Floridian duo SALES in recent years, that it feels totally fitting for Lauren Morgan and Jordan Shih to return to the fray with a track entitled Talk a Lot. Comprising three minutes’ typically alluring lo-fi fare, which ebbs and flows supplely between xx-esque, “breezy” sparsity and comparatively busy parts, replete with diaphanous vocal layerings and lashings of crisp bass, they’re essentially “making it look easy” all over again. Making for the sort of track to ensure tongues will continue to wag for a while yet, in short.
