In the space of a few recuperative days, we relocate from the stones of Brighton to the sands of Barcelona. During transitory stints over the past few summers I’ve sat with the Mediterranean shoreline between my toes, gazing forever longingly over toward the exotic gleam of the iconic, angular slant of the Parc del Fòrum’s placa fotovoltaica as it juts out into the great unknown in the general direction of all the more peculiar continents. Then, it sat beside the sea an intangible dream; now, it becomes an intense reality. Life even, if only for a few all too fleeting días.
