A third number to surface from Arone Dyer and Aron Sanchez’ forthcoming third full-length, Scholars, it’s brassy stuff from the NYC duo: at times reminiscent of Love This Giant, it’s punchy, unapologetically poppy and, as Dyer yearns: “I don’t get that kind of love anywhere else,” she and Sanchez’ incontestable singularity continues to engender real feeling.
