It may well be the best part of three years since Aarhus-born (if now Copenhagen-based) four-piece LISS released their remarkable début EP First, but on the basis of Talk to Me, it certainly feels as though Søren Holm & Co. have never been away. All ebullient bass, breezy synths and bright, light touches of coruscating guitar, the Danes have contrived a sound that, although replicable, is never repetitive, as Holm muses on modern-day romance in terminology intelligible to people of, or around, their still-admirably young age. A most welcome return.
