It may well be the best part of five years since Danish four-piece When Saints Go Machine released the sheeny Infinity Pool, but as they return equipped with both the amorphous ZeroFrame and a press release stating their collective need “to feel that life outside the band existed,” their extended absence disintegrates into total irrelevance. For informed by the part that Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild played in the polemically monikered Cancer in the interim, in spite of its nebulous structure, there is a concrete, composed presence of mind to the below comeback track, his trademarkedly diaphanous vox anchored by stark, uncompromisingly industrial production.
