Soleima’s conflating knowingly coquettish vocals (reciting, in this instance, lyrics along the lines of: “Don’t let me be the one who got away”) with crisp, KISS-esque production has proven a winning formula for the Copenhagen-based singer time, and time again. This time, it’s Pacify Me, from her latest EP Bulldog, and while this one will likely call to mind the sublime Breathe off of yesteryear’s No. 14, it doesn’t so much soothe as stimulate the excitement surrounding one of Denmark’s very best contemporary exports.
